I'm happy that I decided to send my child to this childcare. My child is only 2 years old and we want him to learn social skill at this young age and to expose him to an environment where he can play with same age children. I have visited some school with Montessori method and I like this school better because from the first time I entered the room, it feels different than most of preschool classrooms. They make the classroom more like how we set up room at our house. They do offer activities like art and craft, they even have what they call circle time where children sit together and they do different activities such as letter, number and shape introduction, they sing and dance together..:)

The teachers are all friendly and they always greet us every morning when we drop off our son. That makes me feel safe to leave our son there for few hours everyday. Most importantly, he is excited to go to 'school' every day!

Julian attended the school the last 5months in Room 2, and we are sad to leave the school as we are moving to SoCal. Diana and Winnie make tremendous effort for the children and also the other staff has been very helpful and caring. We can only recommend this place and will miss all the children and staff!

My twins went to this wonderful school the first 2 yrs of their lives. Unfortunately we had to move but we will always be grateful to the teachers of Kidz Academy for the awesome care and teachings they provided to our kidz ? we love you and miss you all!

My son has been going to Kidz Academy since he was 6 months and he's 4 now. We love the place and teachers there. They provide affordable pricing and it's in a good location close to my husband's work.

An exceptional daycare/school with amazing staff to match. I have nothing but praise for this amazing place and the impact they have had on my 2yr old son and our family. I cannot recommend Kidz Academy enough for what they offer in value and growth opportunities for my child.

Like many parents, my wife and I were hesitant to let "strangers" care for our little one and were overwhelmed by the process of properly screening potential daycare centers. After an exhaustive search we found Kidz Academy and instantly found ourselves impressed. Safety is of utmost importance here as well as growth, learning, and social opportunities. The staff are all upbeat and cheerful (even on the most trying of days) and willing to be flexible to tailor their care to the specific needs of my child. They have been wonderful in working with me and providing the extra support needed, when it is needed.

Social learning is encouraged and child interaction heavily prioritized in this learning environment. My son began as a part time at the age of about 1 yr and has grown tremendously in the time he has been here. Looking back I cannot fathom the idea of him being anywhere else.

Staff here have a real desire to care for and nurture the growth and development of the children under their care. In addition, the center goes out of their way to provide new experiences such as special events (petting zoo visits, magic shows, themed learning weeks) and fun, engaging learning opportunities.

My child will soon be transitioning to full time as I get back to a more normalized schedule. Kidz Academy gave me the flexibility to make this transition on my own schedule and has been willing to be flexible with my daycare needs as I've interviewed as well as when life events happened and I needed extra support. I am happy to have found this place and hope others do so too...

My son's been going here since August 2016 and I love it. My only negatives are that you have to pay half price if he doesn't come for a week.

Kidz Academy is really a very good daycare center. Our LO has been there since she was about 1 yr old, and she's always been happy and cared for and nurtured. Plusses: The staff are all really great and very experienced. The senior baby teacher has been there for something like 10 years, and a surprising percentage of the staff have some sort of childcare-related professional training or degree. The arrangements can be as flexible as you need (we started part-time, and they never had a problem when I needed to bring her in for extra days here and there), and the prices are very low. The space is also roomy, safe and well-maintained, including the outdoor area.
Minuses: The food is really not as good as at our previous daycare. They clearly think about health at least a bit, but their main snack staples are all processed foods like nutrigrain bars and cheezits. They also favor canned fruits like peaches and mandarin oranges over fresh fruit. Personally, I would rather pay a little more to have a fresher menu. The other minus is the drop-off time chaos. They are usually understaffed in the morning, until about 8:30 or 9, and the half hour before then can be a bit out of control, while kids are being dropped off and the staff that start later in the day are starting to filter in. They should really come up with a better system for that part of the day.
So, all in all, our daughter's overall happiness and the stellar staff give Kidz Academy 4 stars. If they improved the food and morning routine, they would get 5.

The place looks small from the outside, but it has a lot more room once you come inside. Also the backyard play area is decent . Our daughter has been attending for over a year now. She started at 1 with part time attendance. They are the most flexible part time preschool that I found and we evaluated a few before deciding on this one. They have a kitchen and all the meals are included in the pricing, which means your kids get fresh prepared food and you don't have to pack it. They start potty training as early as the parents desire, some other places make you wait till the kids are in older groups (2.5 in Action Day). They did have some of the teachers turn over in the last few moths, staring with a new director. I was a little worried, but turned out the new staff is bringing new ideas and is more open to suggestions. My daughter continues to like going to school and is learning and developing. They do lots of art projects, singing songs, and book reading. The only reason I am not giving them 5 is they need to make sure to stabilize the staff there.

No matter where you go in the Childcare realm, there is turnover. The new director, Tera, has been wonderful. The teachers are patient and loving. You can't beat the love and care in the infant room. Ms. Greta has been WONDERFUL! She has watched over both my babies until they were two. I know there are some new teachers, but I drop in and check up on my kids unannounced and have consistently seen that my children are listening, learning, and laughing. They enjoy going to school. The owners are staying "hands off" and letting the professionals do the thing they do best... help us parents raise our kids to be good people.

My son attended Kidz Academy in Room 2 for the last 5 months and we have nothing to say about it except for good things. Unfortunately we are moving to SoCal - so we had to leave. The staff is really attentive and flexible and consider everybody in the group.
Diana and Winnie organize lots of activities and all the other stuff is helpful and really takes good care of the children.

We can't praise Kidz Academy highly enough. Our child started there about 3 months ago, behind in development. She continuously makes incredible improvements in all areas, and she loves going there every day. The staff is obviously qualified, and they are all very professional, friendly, and helpful.

My son has been going since past 4 months and I am very happy to have
chosen Kidz. It was not easy for my son to get accustomed to the new environment since he had been under the care of my parents since the beginning. But the staff and director ensured that he gets all due attention and care.
Foremost, the staff is very understanding and they show lot of concern and lend a ear to what you say. I am very happy with the way they conduct their child care duties. Now, as I have joined work, I feel very relaxed because I know my son will be well taken care of. My son does not give much trouble in eating now and likes
to eat on his own when at home. They have a series of activities in the morning and the children get good learning exposure.
Secondly, if the child does not like anything they show their resentment and as parents we know then that something is wrong with the child or he is not happy. My son always feels good in the morning when he gets ready for his day care. And I feel pleased to see this expression on his face. If the child is getting love and care, he will be happy and in good spirit.

I THANK his teachers and the director who put in so much effort in providing such a homely environment to children and shaping these tiny-tots into disciplined beings.

Most caring staff in SantaClara County
I had my son at this facility. He has a developmental disability and the staff here treated him with the same care and love that all of the other children received. The director treated his older brother like he was another of her students. The boys both loved it here and they loved the people.

    We're Family!!
We're family, that's how the administrator introduced her staff. The director has worked with her for over 23 yrs, and the rest of her staff, 15+. I started my infant at one of their other locations until it sold. Although Kidz was out of my way, there was no doubt we would not be moving too. My son was 2 by this time, and we were now considered part of their family. My friends warned me against putting my baby in daycare. That he would get too attached to a teacher, and that teachers come and go in centers. At kidz, they stay. I found the entire staff to be warm, and loving. They welcomed my son with hugs and kisses in the moning and said good to him in the same manner. Four the 4 yrs. my son was with kidz the staff there, were not only caregivers, teachers, nurses, counselors (to me ), friends, second moms, an angel. Every teacher knew every child, and from what I could tell, almost every parent. The administrator was right. We are a FAMILY!

The owner isn't crude or rude - she is direct. She also has a heart. The director is beyond compare. The facility is fabulous. And although the church is not my denomination, I never felt ANY pressure at all to follow that particular church. I felt that It was a facility within a church. And the staff treat it that way.

We moved to the Central Valley and obviously taking them here was no longer convenient, regretfully. If we ever move back up to the Bay Area you can bet I will take them back to Kidz Academy. My biggest regret is that my youngest won't get an opportunity to go to this wonderful, stimulating, caring place.

Not a true of the School or staff As you have all read the review from luv4kids about kidz Academy, just know that this is not a true statment of the school or the staff and in fact the statement that she has written is what she has said about all the other days care she has sent her kids too (all three of her kids). And In fact what she has writing is far from

the truth about the staff and the center.

Let remember what does cost have to do with the care of our children it should be about the care and not the cost. So before you take what she has written as word please stop by and take a look at this great school.

Thank you from a parent of the school

My 3 and 4 1/2 year olds have been attending Kidz since they were infants. My husband and I are happy with what our kids are learning, not only academically but on an emotional level as well. I love that the 3 year olds learn to count in English and Spanish and are introduced to writing letters and numbers, yet pressure-free. The 4 year olds are introduced to homework, but it serves more as prep for kindergarten and again without pressure. And while free play is a big part of their schedule, I am always taken back at how well the kids play together, follow instruction and clean up together. Using good manners and having the kids explore their creative side through many art projects are emphasized by the staff. Miss Annie and Miss Greta are wonderful and the schools open-door policy has allowed me to visit the kids at any time (except nap time respectfully). We are grateful that these positive aspects are reflected at home also. While no school is perfect, we have had concerns which we have discussed with the teachers and director. They have made it a point to address our issues and follow-up with us. Yes, the school is expensive but is probably very comparable to other full time preschools, plus Kidz does provide breakfast, snacks and lunch with help from Miss Maxi the cook. From my understanding, the classrooms are leased from the church but there is no affiliation with the church nor do they teach religion. The former administrator/owner (mentioned in someones review) has not been at Kidz for over a year now.
